Integrated Builders announced today that Craig Ablondi and Herb Gaston have joined the team as Superintendents. Bringing a combined 48 years of industry experience, Ablondi and Gaston will oversee the day-to-day construction of Integrated Builders’ ongoing and upcoming projects, while also ensuring on-site safety, coordination, and overall quality control.

Ablondi brings a 30-year construction background to his role at Integrated Builders, having previously served as a Project Superintendent at Cutler Associates and a General Superintendent at Barr & Barr. During his tenure at Cutler Associates, he oversaw the construction of a 200-bed residence hall for first-year students at Babson College. The $25 million, three-story building features the Schlesinger Innovation Center and a 24-hour, multi-use, living and learning space.

Prior to joining Integrated Builders, Gaston served as a Superintendent at Cutler Associates where he oversaw the renovation of the John Scott House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Braintree, MA. Additionally, during his 18-year construction career, Gaston supervised the construction of a McDonald’s at Logan International Airport and the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham, MA.

“Craig and Herb both bring diverse, valuable skill sets that will allow them to oversee the larger, more complex projects that Integrated Builders undertakes,” said Jay Dacey, President of Integrated Builders. “Boasting outstanding leadership skills, a dedication for project safety, and an understanding of the intricacies pertaining to the overall construction process, I am confident that they will have a seamless transition into the team and will provide an immediate, positive impact on the continued growth of our firm.”

Ablondi earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Roger Williams University and currently lives in Mendon, MA, with his wife, son, and daughter. He holds his Associated Builders and Contractors, Massachusetts Supervisors, OSHA 30, and City of Cambridge Builders’ licenses.

Gaston attended Northeastern University and currently resides in Brockton, MA, with his wife and two children.
