Integrated Builders announced that it has been selected to construct the 125,000 square-foot (s.f.) Quincy Self Storage facility from the ground-up on behalf of owner GRE Quincy, LLC and development manager Jumbo Capital Management, LLC. The new self-storage center will be located at 671 Washington Street in Quincy, MA. The Integrated Builders project team includes Project Manager Dean Kelliher, Assistant Project Manager Barbara Frazier, and Project Superintendent Jeff Seaman who collaborated with architect BL Companies.
The Quincy Self Storage building will be constructed four-storiesc high with 2 oversized freight elevators installed for customer convenience. The 1st floor will feature sales and administrative offices. The 2nd through 4th floors will house 1,150 temperature controlled storage units. There will be an additional 8 self-storage units outside with drive-in doors. The architectural design on the exterior of the building is diverse with 7 different kinds of efficient and pre-insulated wall panels along with masonry across the bottom. Additionally, an irrigation system with complementary landscaping will be installed around the perimeter.
The new Quincy Self Storage site is located off Route 3 near the United States Naval Shipbuilding and several retail businesses and restaurants.
