Integrated Builders has been awarded its second cannabis project, from a cannabis cultivator and manufacturer based in Michigan. The new dispensary is located in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This will be the first product retail store of its kind in Massachusetts. The project is an interior tenant fit-out of 3,525 square-feet. The dispensary will feature a reception area, product displays, and sales areas and will involve partial mechanical work, including new electrical and plumbing. The existing HVAC system will be reworked to accommodate the demands of a dispensary, where specific temperatures and moisture levels are required. A new exterior storefront will also be completed.
The construction management team includes project manager Thomas Carleton, assistant project manager Barbara Fraizer and project superintendent William Nagle who will be carrying out the services on behalf of the owner. Architectural design is provided Bergmeyer. This new dispensary is planned to open late Q4 2021.
