National Grid | Pre-Engineered Metal Building
Owner: National Grid
Architect: Winter Street Architects
Location: Waltham, MA
Project Overview
Integrated Builders demolished the former Weston Racquet Club to begin construction of the new National Grid building. The completed facility features a pre-engineered metal building with architectural wall panels, including 2,000 SF of office space, 1,000 SF of training rooms, and 1,000 SF of locker rooms for employee use. The building also houses a 2,000 SF service area for organizational vehicles, accessible via steel roll-up overhead doors, and a 4,000 SF storage area for meters and components. Additional amenities include a small kitchen and conference room within the office area, as well as built-in closets along the main corridor. Integrated Builders also installed new asphalt paving and lined parking on both sides of the building, along with sliding gates and perimeter surveillance for enhanced security.
