Integrated Builders announced that it has been selected to complete lobby entrance renovations for occupied office buildings located at 1 and 3 Speen Street in Framingham, Massachusetts on behalf of owner Carruth Capital, LLC. The Integrated Builders team includes Project Manager Stephen Shinto, Assistant Project Manager Kim Sheehan, and Project Superintendent Peter Barbosa. The new lobbies will boast a modern design by architect Walsh/Cochis Associates, Inc.
The renovations will commence with the demolition of the main entrances, atriums, and lobbies while the multi-tenant office buildings are occupied. This will require strategic planning from the Integrated team in order to minimize disruption to normal operations. The finish portion of the interior work will modernize the existing common areas of the building. There will be new stainless steel and glass railing systems installed. The updates also include frameless glass tenant entries, contemporary light fixtures, new ceilings, contrasting large tile flooring, carpet tiles, and fresh paint. Additionally, the multi-floor office buildings will receive minor updates to fire protection systems and maintenance work on other levels.
1 and 3 Speen Street are located adjacent to each other near Route 128 and I-90, a convenient location for commuters in the Metro West region. Carruth Capital, LLC is a privately-owned, well capitalized commercial real estate firm with over 3.5 million square feet of space under ownership. Carruth is one of the largest Landlords in Massachusetts with over two hundred twenty (220) tenants occupying forty-two (42) commercial buildings.
