Integrated Builders announced that it has hired Thomas Childs as a Project Manager. Childs is a seasoned construction professional with 30 years of diverse experience. He has managed multi-million dollar projects for a wide range of sectors including, but not limited to office buildings, higher education, retail, institutional, cold storage, warehouse and distribution centers, and manufacturing. Childs will be a valuable asset to the firm’s current and future projects.
In his new role, Childs is responsible for the overall management of construction projects. He handles bids and subcontractor coordination. He is responsible for budget management and schedule management. He ensures consistent and accurate reports are maintained. He utilizes transparent communication with clients on a regular basis. In addition, he is responsible for promoting on-site safety awareness.
Prior to Integrated Builders, Childs worked at several construction firms in the region in Project Management roles including Dacon Corporation, Westcott Construction Corporation, and Torrey Company. Childs was educated at Wentworth Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and an Associate of Science in Building Construction Technology. Childs is also a Licensed Construction Supervisor.
