Integrated Builders announced that it has completed a 32,000 square-foot (s.f.) fit-out on behalf of Calare Properties for the Edinburg Center in Bedford, MA. The Integrated Builders project team included Project Manager Bob Purdy, Assistant Project Manager Kim Sheehan, and Project Superintendent Mike Croteau who collaborated with architecture firm CI Design, Inc. to meet the specifications of the fit-out.
The Edinburg Center is a non-profit organization that has relocated from its Lexington, MA location to a Calare Properties owned building situated at 205 Burlington Road in Bedford, MA. The organization offers learning and clinical services to individuals with mental health conditions and/or developmental disabilities. The Edinburg Center’s mission is to provide the resources needed “to promote growth and independence, foster hope, and enhance the quality of life for people with mental health conditions, co-occurring substance use conditions, and developmental disabilities.”
Integrated Builders made it a priority to bring the Edinburg Center’s mission to life. The fit-out consisted of new classrooms, offices, and treatment rooms. There were all new fixtures installed including white boards and operable walls to facilitate learning. Integrated Builders also constructed a new kitchen and dining area for client, student, and staff use. Furthermore, the firm created three individual training and development rooms with a flexible design so that the area is able to convert into one larger room. There were two restroom cores installed, and VCT floors can be found throughout the new space.
The Edinburg Center is located near Route 95 and Route 3 which makes it a convenient location for clients in the Greater Boston area. It is situated near landmarks such as the Burlington Mall and Hanscom Air Force Base. It is also close to several restaurants and retail stores.
