In March 2014, Integrated Builders began the third phase of construction at the new Riverview Technology Park on Woburn Street in Billerica, MA. Dean Kelliher, Project Manager at Integrated Builders and Michael Croteau, Superintendent at Integrated Builders, are leading the team to renovate 6,000 square feet of manufacturing space, transforming it into a sample office area for marketing purposes. Work entails laying new floors, painting, and installing three separate floating acoustical ceilings at varying heights. Renovations are expected to be completed by the end of May.
On behalf of Calare Properties and Hackman Capital, Integrated Builders worked to complete the first and second phases of construction in 2013. Phase one focused on the park’s 560,000 square-foot building at 495 Woburn Street. The renovation completely transformed the building’s façade and added a contemporary new lobby and 400-car parking lot. Other improvements included a new park entrance and roads, landscaping and signage, plus significant upgrades to the site’s infrastructure, including water retention, drainage and irrigation systems.
For the second phase of the project, Integrated Builders demolished interior offices and walls to open up the space. By installing 90 punched windows and saw-tooth skylights, the building is now filled with natural light. Integrated Builders also constructed a brand new façade at the building’s west entrance and added additional outdoor seating. Improvements will continue once the building begins to lease—including the addition of a fitness center, a full-service cafeteria and common-area corridor.
