Integrated Builders announced that it has been selected to construct a 120,000 square-foot (s.f.) self-storage facility from the ground-up on behalf of real estate investment firm Highland Development Ventures. The Integrated Builders team includes Project Manager Dean Kelliher, Assistant Project Manager Barbara Frazier and Project Superintendent Herb Volpe who will implement the design intent of architect Groundwork LTD, structural engineer O’Donnell & Naccarato, and MEP engineer GNA Engineering.
The new self-storage facility will be constructed three-stories high with a structural steel frame. The exterior will feature insulated metal wall panels. The interior will be built with concrete slab to include a vapor barrier. It will house 819 temperature controlled self-storage units that can be accessed through automatic sliding doors in the front entrance or 1 of 2 drive-in loading docks with roll-up doors. The construction will include the installation of 2 elevators for customer convenience. The entire building will be equipped with a fire protection sprinkler system, and feature energy efficient sensor lighting. There will be a contemporary reception area and office built out for administrative purposes as well as a break room and restrooms.
The new self-storage facility is located at Route 1 and Foxhill Drive in Walpole, MA.
