  • PROJECT MANAGER
    Location: Braintree, MA

Description

Serves as the primary point of contact and corporate representative for all project stakeholders, including Owners, OPMs, Developers, Architects, Engineers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, Vendors, and Subcontractors. This role leads the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout, with accountability for budget, cost, schedule, risk, staffing, project controls, and safety, while delivering a high level of customer service.

Requirements

Preconstruction + Procurement

  • Support proposal and preconstruction efforts, including constructability reviews and budget updates.
  • Partner with Estimating and Purchasing through procurement/buy-out to align scope, schedule, and pricing.
  • Represent Integrated Builders in interviews and pursuits as needed.

Project Leadership + Client Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for Owner communication, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Lead weekly Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings and subcontractor meetings; manage agendas, minutes, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate continuously with field leadership (Superintendents, Safety, etc.) to align project goals, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain strong subcontractor relationships, including early communication of submittal and material delivery expectations.

Cost Management + Contract Administration

  • Own project financial performance, including cost reporting, forecasting, pay applications/requisitions, and invoice review/approval.
  • Manage change management processes, including negotiation and dispute resolution when necessary.
  • Monitor executed subcontracts and insurance compliance; confirm contracts/COIs are in place prior to start of work.
  • Identify and lead strategies to optimize project profit opportunities.

Schedule + Project Controls

  • Work with the Project Scheduler to update and distribute the master schedule with input from the Superintendent and project team.
  • Provide oversight of project controls including RFIs, submittals, and material delivery tracking (with support from APM/PE).
  • Track and report material deliveries and related impacts to schedule and execution.

Quality + Safety + Closeout

  • Support resolution of critical field issues with focus on quality, cost, and schedule; document as required.
  • Perform regular safety walks with field/safety staff and document observations.
  • Conduct field walks as needed; compile observations/field reports and drive closure of open items.
  • Lead project closeout: implement closeout checklist, manage documentation submission, and drive punchlist completion to final turnover.

Required Qualifications​​​​​​​

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture required.
  • 8+ years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Manager (or similar) role.
  • OSHA-10 required.
  • Strong knowledge of contract language and cost management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, delegate effectively, and mentor others.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with cost management, scheduling, and construction management software (Sage/Timberline and Procore preferred).
  • Collaborative leadership style and ability to drive resolution across multi-party issues.
